5/24/11 Calm day

Today the wind feeped out. It has gotten down to less than five knots and
at one point we were only going 1.2 knots when we had to turn off the
engine so that we could hear the weather on the SSB radio. However, we did
see a huge pod of dolphins. I was surprised most of them just past us
without seeming to notice us, but a family of five swam in front of our bow
for a long time. I saw a really big Portuguese Man of War. And what do you
know a sea turtle and the day has not ended so I might see more animals.
The seas have been flat as a pancake the whole day. At this rate we will
arrive in Newport on Saturday afternoon, but we are supposed to get more
wind soon so it might be a little earlier.
